Ministry Moment: Western Region FCA is thrilled to announce that Otis Amey is our new Sacramento Area Director. Otis and his family have responded to God’s call to lead FCA in Sacramento and the surrounding area and we are thrilled to have them on the Western Region FCA team.
Prayer Requests:
1. To connect and grow area boards and develop our board objectives in the region.
2. Staff growth and development.
3. Guidance and direction as we search for a state director for Hawaii.
South Asia
Regional International Coordinator: Luke Llamas
Ministry Moment: It’s been exciting to see God opening doors throughout South Asia, specifically in coaches ministry and training. This summer, FCA held a camp for 150 soccer and cricket coaches, equipping them to make a greater Kingdom impact. We also had the opportunity to serve a nation’s professional sports community by sending an FCA coach to invest in the lives of its top athletes and coaches as they prepared to compete in a major international sports tournament.
Prayer Requests:
1. To see the growth of coaches ministry and huddles in South Asia.
2. More opportunities to serve top athletes and coaches in South Asia.
3. Growth with volunteers and new leaders in India.
Southeastern Coastal - Georgia, Florida

Ministry Moment: Trips to our Global Region of Brazil this summer gave us the opportunity to reach more than 800 youth, coaches, athletes, pastors, sports officials, mayors and volunteers. We look forward to returning to Brazil in January to once again hold American football camps–a sport the Brazilians love.
Prayer Requests:
1. For three special Christmas break “Winter Recharge” camps where students get a mid-school year spiritual recharge opportunity.
2. For Multi-Area Director meetings taking place in Florida and Georgia.
3. Several community-wide FCA All-Star Football Games which bring attention to FCA in our region.
Brazil
Regional International Coordinator: Tom Joyner
Ministry Moment: We praise God for the opportunity to go on three trips this year to three different cities in Brazil. We held two American football camps in Curitiba. We partnered with a local sports ministry in Rio de Janeiro to lead a 3D Coaching clinic and global chaplaincy training as local leaders prepared for the Olympics. In Sao Paulo, we were blessed to serve with other organizations throughout the city and favelas in presenting the gospel to coaches and athletes through clinics and basketball camps.
Prayer Requests:
1. Praise God for our new Brazilian leader Paulo Wescher. Pray for him as he expands his local ministry.
2. That God would open the hearts of the Brazilian coaches and athletes.
3. Pray about joining us on a trip to Brazil, January 14-24, 2017, or May 30-June 9, 2017.
