On how her faith has helped her during college… "The whole college experience – the combination of being a student and an athlete – can be hard and trying. I keep the faith that God will see me through it all as my favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13, states: 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' "
On her influence as an athlete… "I know that a lot of kids look up to me, so I try to display myself as a Christian at all times, so that they will be inspired. That also can be displayed when I play hard, not only for my team and Texas A&M, but for Christ as well."
