Adaora Elonu - #21

Year: Freshman
Height: 6-1
Position: Forward
Hometown: Houston

On her faith...
"My faith plays a very important part in my life and sports. I really use it as a crutch to hold me up and support me. My faith allows me to be sure of myself by doing what is right, on and off the court, and remaining pure."

On making smart choices...
"All of the challenges I have faced have dealt with making smart choices, regardless of how others may judge me because of those choices. On a team with different types of people and personalities, I have come face-to-face with different situations in which I have to make a decision that is different from the others. My strong faith allows me to continue to live the right way and bypass any pressures or challenges."

On influencing others for Christ...

"I encourage my friends to either attend FCA or church with me. I let people know about my strong faith in Christ and how I try to live by His word. I try to be an ideal person for others to follow by remaining positive. Being positive gives off good vibes others can feed off."
