On how her game changed when after she accepted Christ into her life…
"It was a complete 360 for me. I have a different passion now. I'm not playing for me. I’m not playing for my own individual desires. I’m playing for Him … It’s a blessing every time I get to do what I do because He’s given me this opportunity, so really I just want to focus on using every talent, every bit of who I am to achieve and accomplish what He has planned for me, which is obviously the ultimate glory of bringing it all back to Him."

On how the Lord has challenged her since she came to Kansas State…
"In every way imaginable. I would say in my intentions. I want to use every day to love on people. Basically I wake up in the morning and it’s, ‘How can I do what I need to do in order to fulfill His will for me, to fulfill His wishes?’ And that’s something that’s nice because I wake up with a different drive, a different determination, and what’s even nicer is that basketball is now fourth on my list. It goes faith, and then my family, academics and then basketball."

On what she has learned since struggling through her sophomore season…
"Perseverance. Not to allow my circumstances or the things around me to change who I am, not to allow them to change my attitude. I am the same person. I am a sister in Christ. I am who He created me to be, and whether I’m winning games or losing games, whether I’m getting A’s in classes or I’m not, whether I have this friend or I don’t – those things don’t make me waver anymore."
