Mike Blanc serves as the Executive VP of Pro and Elite Sports, where he is responsible for FCA’s global ministry to professional and elite coaches and athletes.
He is a South Florida native from Pompano Beach, Florida. He attended Auburn University on a full athletic scholarship, where he was co-president of FCA and helped lead his football team to an undefeated season and a national championship win in 2010. After graduating from Auburn with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, he played two years in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After football, Mike pursued his passion to serve the Lord by helping launch Broward County FCA, where he served as an Area Director for almost four years. After ministry for Broward FCA was established and fully funded, Mike became the Sports Chaplain and Campus Director for the University of Miami, where he has served for seven years.
Mike is also author and creator of “Disciple U,” a discipleship manual to help believers communicate Gospel truth and navigate making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Mike currently lives in Miami, Florida with his wife Melanie and their three children: Mikel, Maya and Mina.
