FCA: Why are you here?

Owen: I went to an Oregon camp last year, and it was a really good camp. This year, I got a postcard for UCLA and came down.

Owen: It’s a different schedule—we have three hour practices this year and they are a lot longer than Oregon’s.

FCA: What are you learning?

Owen: The fundamentals of soccer.

FCA: How do you think God will show up this week?

Owen: I went to Idaho a couple weeks ago and that camp was a life changer, so this one I am strengthening my relationship with God.

Sport: Softball
Position: Coach
Camp Experience: 1 year

FCA: What are your thoughts on this week?

Kim: This is my first time coaching here. To spend the whole week watching girls grow physically and spiritually has been an amazing experience.

FCA: What is God showing you?

Kim: He’s challenged me to be better: a better coach, a better role model, a better sister, and a better daughter.

FCA: What are you looking forward to?

Kim: Last night was awesome; I came to decision night and it was impactful. It was awesome to celebrate with those kids. I’m excited to grow myself. Moving forward, I want them to know that there will be challenges ahead when they go back, but I want to let them know they have support.
