Ministry Moment: Greater Seattle FCA Area Director Jonathan Rainey co-led the chapel service before the Seattle Seahawks preseason game against the Denver Broncos on August 14. At the close of the service, 15 Seahawks made commitments to follow Christ!

Prayer Requests:

1. For God to raise up a new State Director for Alaska as our current State Director, Heath Day, transitions to a new role within Alaska FCA.

2. Impact of the 2016 PNW Region FCA Coaches Couples Getaway in February, featuring guest speakers Les and Chris Steckel.

3. People and financial resources as we staff the Spokane, Washington/Northern Idaho area.

Great Lakes- Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia

Ministry Moment: For the fourth year, Central Ohio FCA had 85 home-schooled cross country athletes compete in public school invitationals around Ohio. Throughout the season, they passed out several hundred gospel tracts at the end of each race, which opened the door for many gospel conversations.

Prayer Requests:

1. Funding for a new Ohio FCA State Director.

2. For our new international affiliate—Dean Squires in Barbados.

3. For God's guidance in our search for a Detroit FCA Metro Director.

Southwest- Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas

Ministry Moment: Last summer, a group of 10 University of Houston student-athletes traveled to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip in partnership with the Athletic International Missions. These student-athletes got to journey through the rolling green hills and rocky roads of the DR, experiencing God in new ways and sharing the gospel with kids through sports-themed camps.

Prayer Requests:

1. For lives to be changed and students to be encouraged at the Texas College Retreat in February.

2. All the details to come together as we prepare for our Weekend of Champions events throughout March and April.

3.  Great weather and turnout for our Legends and Legacies Invitational Golf Tournament in April.

Carolinas- North Carolina, South Carolina

Ministry Moment: Every year we are blessed with great student-leaders throughout our Wake Forest, North Carolina, area. The student-leaders from six area high schools were the driving force behind their Fields of Faith that gathered roughly 250 students to worship together and to hear their peers’ testimonies.

Prayer Requests:

1. That God will raise up Multi-Area Directors for Upstate of South Carolina, Northwest North Carolina, South Coastal South Carolina, and an Area Director for Fayetteville, North Carolina.

2. Expanding relationships in the coaching community at our third annual Coaches Appreciation event.

3. The movement of God’s Spirit among the 200 middle school students who will gather at Camp Oak Hill this spring.
